Portfolio
What began as transforming my own yard gradually evolved into working with friends, family, and residential clients across West Michigan. It has been deeply rewarding to watch each space take on a life of its own – and with every passing season, the biodiversity and the vibrancy of these habitats only deepens.
My design work specializes in two primary plant communities: sun-loving prairie ecosystems and the layered, shade-tolerant plants of woodland edge environments.
NATIVE
LANDSCAPING

Native bees absolutely love the Nodding Onion (Allium cernuum), pollinating bees in particular do not mind hanging upside down to collect nectar. I typically use it as a border plant since it has the additional benefit of being deer and rabbit resistant.
